
Chickpea Flour Flatbread
Traditionally this is ceci focaccia , a simple gluten free version of flat bread..so tasty though!

- 1 blender optional
Ingredients
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1 cup water
- 3-4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp salt / black salt
- 1/2 tsp oregano / rosemary / other herbs of choice
- 1/2 tsp turmeric - optional
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp caraway seeds - optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven at 190C.
- Generously prepare a pan of choice, tap generously with olive oil or line with parchment paper.
- Blend everything together using a blender or:
- In a medium size bowl add the flour and the water incrementally (important), mix well using a whisk to avoid making lumps.
- Add all spices and herbs and the olive oil.
- Pour the batter into the pan, should be at half inch thick or by preference.
- Bake for 15 - 20 minute until brown on top, depends on the oven and thickness.
- Serve warm or cold..enjoy!
