Pain of romance break up. Is it worth it?

Is it safe to love?

No. But that’s not the point.

In the grand scheme of things we’re here to play this game of immersing into forgetfulness just to make the journey back to oneness. It’s a mission of gathering knowledge and integrating it back into Source.

You’re here to do the best you can with what you have. You’re here to feel the whole range of emotions available in 3d (third dimension). You’re here to allow all these emotions to deliver their message to you. And these messages once deciphered will convey critical information about your genuine Self.

Love relationship vs Romantic Relationship

It’s been a real struggle for humans since forever to deal with romantic relationships without avoiding pain or disappointment. No wonder, since we don’t even use the right terminology on the subject. That’s the level of confusion we are dealing with.

Love is all inclusive as a concept. Everything else is part of it. A romance is a particular kind of love and it involves sexual attraction. When in a romantic relationship, partners love each other in a sick or in a healthy way. No judgement is allowed here, attraction is a magnetism meant to bring people together against their conscious will sometimes. There’s a higher purpose behind it and it will be addressed later in this article.

By design, this dimension is meant to offer a plethora of experiences to the individual for the purpose of becoming aware of the biases and distorsions within. Once we have this understanding, any experience would be treated as an opportunity first of all, no matter how painful or uncomfortable it is.

Subconsciously/unsconsciously generating same patterns of experiences/partners

Romantic relationships in particular are the most potent in this regard. They will always reflect back to the individual his core beliefs and misconceptions, ingrained in our psyche mostly during childhood. A treatise might be written on this subject.

As a rule of thumb: whatever triggers you in your partner is a reflection of an aspect of you that’s been sedated and unacknowledged. Moreover, the type of partner that you attract is a reflection of your level of self-esteem also. Again, no judgement allowed, that would be such a misunderstanding of the intended purpose.

If one is committed on the path of awakening, nothing is more important than to cultivate awareness.

What does it mean to become aware? It means to know yourself.

What does it mean to know yourself? It means to understand your subconscious  behavior.

Why is that important? Because whatever is buried in one’s subconscious attracts certain type of people and generates certain type of experiences.

Reality is generated by our inner configuration. To become more and more aware is the whole purpose of life. That means to become more and more empowered.

What does it mean to be an empowered individual? It means to have more and more creative control. It means not to live at the merci of our subconscious/ unconscious.

Is it safe to love?

No. But that’s not the point.

Since romantic love implies most of the time intense and challenging experiences people sometimes fear them. We fear the disappointment,  the sadness and sometimes the excrutiating pain.

That’s a way to live also. Remember though, our subconscious/conscious is fearless. It will keep generating whatever experiences necessary. We are being played by the Great Designer in a way, to make the journey from darkness to light and become conscious creators.

So, one can choose to play it safe and avoid romance as much as possible, one can risk and love whatever happens, one can learn about oneself during the process.

No matter how intense, no matter how long it lasts, no matter how many times, pain or bliss, it’s worth it!
